Article directories are sties that specialize in publishing all subject articles for anyone to read. They are part of the web 2.0 sites, which means that you can use the site for reading from it as well as writing on it.
Article directories are free and if you want to use them to publish your articles, all you have to do is register. Once you’ve done that you will be ready to write your first article.
Are all article directories equal?
Yes and no. Some directories will publish your articles instantly as soon as you click on the submit button. Some others however, will take a little longer. It can take anywhere from a few days to few weeks with some article directories to have your article published. Once you have submitted your article, it will be reviewed by humans and either accepted or rejected.
What are the reasons why your article could be rejected?
There are different reasons why an article would be rejected. Here are the main reasons why that would be the case.
1) If your article is mostly promotional.
2) If your article contains spelling and grammar errors.
3) If your article is about a topic that is excluded from that directory.
4) If your article has a lesser or higher amount of words than the limit required.
5) If you bio box has a URL or anchor text link problem.
These and maybe a few more could be the reasons why your article would be rejected by a directory.
What kind of articles directories like?
Directories like articles that are educational and informing the readers on a specific topic, or subject. Articles that are between 400 and 700 words are ideal for directories. This makes the article not too short and allows for a content that has some consistence and not too long which might discourage people to read the whole article. Most of all, directories, like creative articles which have some personality and originality.
What are some of the benefits of publishing articles to directories?
If you own any kind of business, online or not; writing and publishing articles online will serve you and your business big time. If you run a whole article campaign through a period of 6 months to a year, you will create a growing traffic to your site and sales with it.
