Article Marketing Drives Business To Your Website's Front Door

Debbie is down in the dumps.  Her website isn't ranking very high in the search engine results and  she's not getting many visitors, much less sales.  She's tried a lot of traffic generating techniques and bought a lot of Internet marketing products that promised overnight success. She's tried them all and after a hectic and troublesome six months, came up empty.

Debbie is almost ready to give up on her website.  She offers women's running shoes, running shorts and tops and athletic accessories.  Six months ago she thought it was a great niche, now she's not so sure.  Debbie is flustered, disheartened and ready to give up. She doesn't know what to do next.

What Debbie hasn't realizes is that promoting a website and ranking high in the search engines and generating sales takes more than backlinks or an automatic drip feed of plagiarised content to a blog.  It takes more than "spun" content or articles pulled from article directories and published as if they were her own.


If Debbie had applied her time and energy into what really mattered to real people, the people she was targeting with her merchandise, the search engines would have rewarded her for it automatically.

Real people don't care how may thousands of backlinks your website has.  Real people don't want to see "thin content" articles that anyone could pull from the web.  Real people want to know that Debbie has insight and expertise in the things she sells.  They want to know that Debbie offers something that they can't get anywhere else.

All hope is not lost for Debbie.  Debbie still has options.  She must immediately begin rebuilding her brand.  How does she do that?  Content marketing.

Content marketing is really easy to understand.  People are looking for information.  Not just surface deep information, but information that you have to do a little digging for.  Real people want insight and expertise.  Content marketing is information marketing with a twist.

The twist is, content marketing relies on quality content.  Quality content is informative, insightful, educational, entertaining well-written. It's content written by real people for real people.  Quality content gives a website immediate credibility.  And for online businesses credibility always translates into sales.

If Debbie engaged in content marketing she really would recognize fast results.  By publishing informative articles, relevant blog posts and helpful forum posts, she'd see her visitor count go up, her bounce rate go down and  her number of sales rise.

Content marketing takes a work, but Debbie knows that she doesn't have to do it all by herself.  She can hire a ghostwriter or she can buy original, well-written, quality content right from the web and start publishing and rebuilding her brand immediately.
