Article marketing is simply writing 350 to 450 word articles about the niche you are working in. Once they are written create a compelling headline and submit them to the various article directories.
One of the ways that the search engines decide the ranking of websites is based on the number of inbound links. In bound links are links that lead to your website and are counted by the search engines.

There are many theories on how many article directories should be used when submitting articles. Some say a handful others say one hundred or more. If you want to build your ranking with search engines you should submit to as many article directories as possible.
Each article creates an inbound link for each article directory that it is listed on. If search engines look at inbound links as popularity it only makes sense that the more directories that you articles are posted to the more popular your site should be.
