Article Marketing Tip Creating The Perfect Resource Box

Are you getting very little traffic from your article marketing efforts?

If you are sure that your articles are of high quality, then the other reason for the lack of traffic must be your resource box.

You see many people can churn out articles in lightning fast speed, however they fall at the final hurdle and let their article marketing methods fail with a poor resources box.

The author's resource box appears at the end of your article and gives you a few short paragraphs to make an instant impact upon the reader.

There are 3 steps you can take to ensure your box ticks all the right boxes and sends more traffic to the site of your choice.

The very first vital component of your author's box is to always include your name, sounds simple, by many article marketers omit this, using your name makes you more like a real person, which you of course are.

Secondly, you want to include a short description about your website, using related keywords to your niche and be sure to include the link back to your site.

When adding your site link into your resource box be sure to use the correct formal and give the entire link, for example, http://www.yoursitename.com.

Now it is simply not enough to say go visit my site it's great, that just does not cut it.

So the third component is that you must give a very obvious benefit to the reader to click on the link contained in your resource box.

Use an added incentive for readers to visit your site, tempt them with access to more free information or a product.

Be sure to you use a strong call to action, maybe even a time sensitive offer to inject a sense or urgency too.

It is also advisable that you never use more than one call to action, one will suffice.

If you try to use more than one, the reader will end up confused and this will result in no action being taken.

The final tip is to split test your resource box, have several and test their performance against each other, use different links inside each resource box to help you easily identify the traffic each sends.

Continually test and tweak your resource boxes until you create the perfect one.
