Article Marketing Tutorial – Three Tips From a Successful Article Marketer

When I began writing to earn an income online I had a great article marketing tutorial.  Since I believe everyone benefits by reading advice from someone who’s been around the block a few times, I am going to share some tips with you that helped me get started down the right path to earning a lifetime income using these strategies.

I am going to assume you already have a product or service to offer to consumers. For those who don’t, check into what affiliate marketing is all about.  That’s where a company or manufacturer pays you are commission for bringing them a sale.  You’ll find many products to choose from so pick something you’re interested in.

1. For example in the search box on your home page you can type in the words - keyword tool or help in finding keywords and you’ll find sources to help you.

There are also services available where you pay a small monthly fee and they will do the keyword research for you, so you can concentrate on good content.  Some of these will also provide you with continual training and motivation so you can learn how to be a better article writer.

Article marketing tutorial tip number two:

You will want to spend time researching accurate and unique content. If you already know everything there is to know about your products, then spend a bit of time figuring out how to spin the information in a unique way so you’re not telling the same facts just like everyone else does.

Facts are facts and you don’t want to change the facts for the sake of writing something different giving the article untrue content, but you can write about them differently.  Put yourself into the mindset of the reader you are trying to reach and ask yourself why will the product you are promoting benefit them, or why would they be searching for what you have to offer, and write from that viewpoint.

For example, if you’re writing on skincare products to make someone look younger, think about the 50 year old woman or man who is contemplating going to a class reunion, but he or she sees the wrinkles beginning to form, and wants a product to get rid of them. Think about what that person really wants – the wrinkles gone or to feel young again like the high school days?  Looking young again will help bring back the young feeling they are really striving for.

Article marketing tutorial tip number three:

Don’t give up after just a few articles.  Keep writing.  This is a great way to earn an income, but you won’t make a ton of money after only a few articles.  To be successful you have to keep informing consumers about what you have to offer.  You’ll find the more you can write and submit to article directories a greater number of people will be educated about your product and services.  More people means a larger opportunity to make more sales.
