Article Writing for Profit - How to Create Great Articles

In order to generate quality traffic, you need to create quality articles.   You can identify quality articles by the number of clicks they receive once they are submitted online to the article directories.

Over a period of time, you will begin to notice some articles that you create attract more traffic than other articles.  After the first month or so, you should be able to decipher what it is with a great article that differs from one that aren’t so great.

So here is how you can create great articles:

1 - On a daily basis, you should take action to dramatically improve your personal writing skill.  You should read information that you are interested in and try creating an outline of what you have learned once you have closed the book.  This will help you to improve your vocabulary and your writing skill.

2 - Keep up to date with what’s actually happening within your particular niche or industry.  One way of doing this is to sign up to the experts online and monitor what they are saying.  They should be pumping out the latest and freshest information, and whenever you receive communications from these experts, you will be updating your knowledge too.

3 - It is important that you develop a style of writing that is comfortable and relaxed for both you and your reader.  Write like you are writing to your favorite sister or brother.  Write as if it is important to that they get the latest gossip.

Write in a relaxed and chatty fashion.  This will help your reader to feel comfortable and to want to read more of your copy.  This, in turn, will encourage them to click on to your site and learn more about what you have available.

4 - It is very important that you entice your reader with a great title.  The title is your one and only chance to convince any reader to read through your article to the end.  If the reader believes they are going to learn something by reading your article, then they will click through on the title of your copy. 

A title that arouses curiosity and is enticing is just what you require.

5 - Still on the subject of enticing, it is very important that at the end of the article, the reader is enticed to click on to your site.  You must include a call to action.  Your call to action must be powerful and compelling.  Tell the reader what to do next.  Create a resource box that contains a little bio - some information about you, your link to your site and some information about your niche topic.
