Discover How To Write a Magnetic Headline
This is the most important piece of article advice I can give you - the only way people will read your article is if you write a great headline.
If you don't use a magnetic headline then your article marketing will fail, it's as simple as that. People have a short attention span nowadays and even more so online and if your headline is not magnetic then they will move on without reading any further.
I was on a working holiday in Houston, Texas last year and was browsing in a bookshop that was full of old books and records. I could have stayed there all day! Anyway my attention was caught by a book title "The Ultimate Sales Letter" by Dan Kennedy.
It is an original copy published in 1990 and as I love anything by Dan Kennedy I bought it for $4 which was well worth it when I read it from cover to cover later that evening.
Some of the headline ideas I already know about and use but there were some fantastic new ideas that I found and have tried since with outstanding results.
The first one I saw and have used is the "who else wants" one. This implies that a lot of people know something that the reader of your article does not – very powerful technique. So you could use this in this way – "Who else wants a millionaire lifestyle from just a few hours of work a day".
Another good example of a great headline is "Give me just 5 days and I will show you how to attract women without effort".
So when writing your headline it is useful to remember the old tried and tested formula – AIDA, which stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. In my old sales days we were taught this as the process of a successful sale and it works really well in your article marketing formula.
You get the reader's attention, stimulate their interest, create the desire and inspire them into action.
The way you can use this in your articles is to grab the reader's attention with a magnetic headline then stimulate their interest with a compelling first paragraph followed by other paragraphs that create and build desire to know more and finish by inspiring them into action with a good call to action at the end of your article. The best way to do this is to leave the reader wanting to know more and inspiring them to click through to your website or blog so you can build a great relationship.
