Don't Pay Me 20 Bucks A Day For HUGE Results With Your Website! Try To Re-Invent The Wheel!
I have been writing since the age of ten and getting published since the age of seventeen. I have only had a computer in recent years, but have consistently made a living by writing articles for people, as a ghost writer, meaning that they pay me to write the stuff they want, then they pass it off as their own!
I have noticed many things in the recent years concerning this Article Marketing! Read on, and I will share the knowledge of my experience with YOU! Why? Because it's good karma, and I don't mind sharing a few secrets!
When someone has a website, they need to tell the world "Hey...I am HERE...come visit my website...PLEASE!" How do they do that? Well, one of the best ways is by using a thing called Article Marketing! Here it is in a brief, outline form:
#1: You write, or you hire someone to write; Articles about your website or the products!
#2: You post them on an Article Directory such as ArticlesBase.com (which I think is the best!) Remember, everyone has a preference...Coke or Pepsi, Cup or Cone, Paper or Plastic?
#3: People see and read YOUR articles, then they click the links, and they visit your website! They may or may not become customers, but at least you are getting some visitors! (It's a "numbers" game...just like anything else!)
#4: Some other people, who know that search engines like Google, enjoy seeing new content daily, if possible, so they re-post some of the articles including some of yours!
#5: Now there are many other places where YOUR articles appear, and this gives your website more exposure! The links are still intact...and IF the person re-posting disables the links (which happens only occasionally, he is stealing content...but Karma will get him!)
#6: Google and other search engines will notice all of this activity, and it will help you move up in the rankings!
#7: See for yourself! My name is Father Time, and my fabulous website is www.FatherTimePublishing.com Our biggest seller is a Good Luck Attracting Amulet called an Indian Medicine Bag. So, go to Google, please, and type those three words into the box then press search! You will get a page where I am always listed 3rd, 4th, or 5th...consistently! While you're at it, please click on the listing and visit my website...you may even want an Indian Medicine Bag to bring you GOOD LUCK with your new website!
Now, here is the funny part of the story...I have had people, who got a new website, and they would pay me to write ten or twenty or even forty articles, and they might try to write a few as well, but they didn't see results on their website within a week or two, so they stopped! Some people actually gave up their website, because it turned out to be work!
This is sad, because if they had continued to write, or hire me to write, and kept posting articles, they could have evntually turned their website into a money-making machine! BUT they gave up! They quit! They threw in the proverbial towel!
Let me put it another way...AVON products are awesome, and people all over America LOVE them! You can become an Avon Rep for about twenty bucks...and you get a little sales kit to get you started...IF YOU BOUGHT THE KIT, and handed out just one or two catalogs, and those one or two people didn't buy anything, ONLY because they have no money this week, then you get discouraged and throw the kit in the closet and forget about it...YOU WILL NOT MAKE MONEY!
On the other hand, if you bought 100 catalogs, and loaned them out to as many people in your town as you possibly could, and tell them you will come see them in a couple of days to get their order, GUESS WHAT would happen? When someone gives you an order, let them continue to keep that catalog, BUT the ones who say "no thanks," take the catalog back from them to loan it to another prospect! You have to spend money to make money AND you have to work!
It is the SAME with a WEBSITE! Either YOU have to write article marketing pieces OR hire someone like me to do it for you! Plus, be careful...if you find someone to write for a ridiculously low price, they may be giving you crap for content, plus their spelling and grammar will be bad as well!
