Content is king but you also need to promote it to generate traffic. Here are 4 easy tips to market your articles that will generate traffic to your blog or site and it's free.

#1 Submit your articles to EzineArticles or any other top ranked directories. Start with one directory first then submit to additional directories.

These article directories are visited by thousands and millions of visitors per day. Imagine the number of people that are searching and finding your article.

Be sure to keep your topic relevant for your target market. And aim for quality content. The more relevant your content is the more likely someone will want to find out more about your business.

#2 Submit your articles to social networks such as your Facebook profile, page, Twitter, LinkedIn, Ning, and so forth. There are many online places to submit your articles.

Most of it can be done automatically for you by installing an RSS feed for your blog. For Twitter, you can install a Twitterfeed that automatically feeds your blog to Twitter.

Another benefit to Twitter is that it shows up in real-time search on Google. Which means people that are in our social network will see your Twitter updates.

This is a great opportunity for your brand to be visible online. And the more visible you are the more opportunities for others to find and connect with you.
