How to Write Articles That Get Readers Involved

When you learn how to write articles that are presented in the first person you tend to draw the reader deeper into the content. Writing strategies such as this tend to make for more interesting articles since the content is also sharing your insight on the subject matter. People in general are always interested in what others think. Making use of this simple strategy is a great way to improve your writing thereby gaining more readers.

Assuming that you write articles for promotional purposes online increasing the number of people who read your articles is exactly what you want.

Let's look at a simple 3 step breakdown of how to introduce your perspective into your content to get your readers more involved in the article itself.

Why the Topic Interests You

Focusing on the topic of your article you will want to let the reader know right away why this particular topic is of interest to you. Present to them your passion for the subject matter or perhaps problems you may have had related to what you are writing about. Either way allows the readers some 'insight' into why it is you have selected this subject and 'encourages' them to read further.

By 'setting the stage' at this point of your article you now have given the reader some idea as to what your angle or tone may be and why.

Share Your Opinion

It is encouraged to be clear as to what your views or opinions may be pertaining to the subject matter. Remember as we stated earlier people by and large usually want to know what others are thinking and why. It allows them to 'validate' their own stance or perhaps supplies them with additional information they were not aware of.

By 'offering' your own opinion or perspective you are placing your unique 'stamp' on the content. This content now 'belongs' to you since you have personalized it with your particular insights.

How It Benefited You

Share your experiences with the subject matter and how it benefited you or perhaps what you didn't like about it. In this way you are giving the reader an early indication as to what they may also expect to experience.

For promotional purposes if you can share your own unique 'positive' experiences you are very subtly encouraging others to give it a try.

Again by delivering your content in this manner you are more 'personally connecting' with the reader thereby making you more likable and influential.

Learning how to write articles that captivate your readers will increase your popularity as an author.  When you write articles you want the readers to not only enjoy them but to also learn something from them. One of the best writing strategies you can use to achieve this and improve your writing is to present your content in the first person. This style of writing tends to get your readers more involved in the content since you are 'talking to them' and not 'writing at them.' By sharing your insights and experiences with the readers you are able to produce more interesting articles for them to enjoy. If increasing the readership of your articles is one of your objectives then this writing style will help push you in the right direction.
