Not a day goes by that any serious website owner doesn't wonder how to get more traffic to their site. Article writing is considered to be one of the best forms of free advertising. You can simply write a 300 - 500 word article and start sending targeted traffic to your website.
You are in one of two categories and they are:
Category #1) You are a new Internet marketer and need website traffic.
Category #2) You have a website and are experienced but would like to receive more website traffic.

If you need or want more targeted traffic to your site you will need to learn how to write articles. Article writing is not as hard as it seems. It is a skill that you can learn, and once you learn the basics just keep writing and you will get better. Here are some keys to writing a good article.
1) Create an attention grabbing headline. You only have about 3 - 6 seconds to grab your readers attention so you want to spark a massive amount of interest with your title.
2) Write like you talk. Don't try and use big complex words it will just turn most readers off. Just be yourself and write what you believe in.
3) Give your readers some information that is useful. Readers like to learn something from an article so give it to them. Don't give them all of the information keep them a little hungry for more so they will click on your link in your resource box.
4) Write interesting articles around your niche. Keep your article writing lite and entertaining and most of all interesting. No one likes to read a boring article. Writing in this manner will help drive a massive amount of traffic to your website.
5) Use keywords in your title and through out your article so you will list high in search engine rankings. Keywords are very important to your article so research long tail keywords (more than one word) and find out what people are really looking for.
6) Make sure you put your url link in your authors resource box and make a good call to action so your readers will want to click on your link. This is one of the most important parts of article writing.
Article writing when properly used can bring you a ton of traffic on a daily basis. After writing your article you will need to submit it to free article directories. You should submit to at least 10 if not more. You should try and write 2 articles a day. The more articles you write the more traffic you will get and a better chance of making a sale.
