Today, it is very difficult to find people who love and respect the elders. Why this has happened? It is quite simple.
People of this modern century are very busy with their works. They work hard for long hours to earn money. Some of them even forget to care their family. So, naturally, there is no place for their family or other elders in their life. But why don’t they realize that it’s those elders who helped them to achieve their goals so far?
But, now, let me tell you something about living with elders.
I lived with my grandparents for two to three years. It was very hard for me to go away from my parents and to live with grandparents. To tell the truth, it was very hard to get adjusted with them. Doing the works as they instructed was one of the main thing which was irritating for me. I often immersed into sadness when they forbade me from, even watching television. There was no idea in front of me rather than getting adjusting with them. Now the years have passed, and I am living with my parents. I felt the difference. Usually, it was difficult for me to avoid watching the television and to work. But now, I was able to control my mind and to do things confidently. It was just because, I was able to control my wishes and emotions when I stayed with my grandparents.
So, living with elderly is not at all a regretting one. It will be hard at first, but it’s sure that we may develop ourselves due to them
Mostly, elders are very strict and they want everything to be perfect. Hence, people will be uncomfortable when they are staying with elders. But the lessons we learn from the elders are always a fruit which will be with us during our life time.
Therefore hating or disrespecting the elders is not recommendable.

Living Tribal in a Democracy
By: Weam Namou | 19/11/2006 | Relationships
Perhaps the biggest difference between modern societies and tribal societies is the importance placed on kin. In most modern societies, kin outside the immediate circle of close relatives such as mother, father, husband, wife, son and daughter rarely play much of a role in each other's lives and are usually only seen at family gatherings. In tribal societies, it is often the intricate networks of relationships among kin that form the very fabric of tribal societies. Food gathering, political decision making, child rearing, inheritance of wealth, and other considerations are all affected by the kinship relationships among the people involved.

Whatever Happened to the Church Christ Built?
By: Jerry Richard Boone | 27/04/2007 | Religion
Since Jesus established his church, and the New Testament describes his church, do you think it might be a good idea for twenty-first century churches to follow the biblical example: in doctrine? in organization? in worship? Why would Luke, Paul, Peter, James, and John provide us with such extensive details of the original church, if they did not intend for us to follow this pattern?

Old World Plant Supersticions
By: EBell | 17-07-2007
My Grandmother told me about a supersticioin from the old country where there was a certain plant that you kept in the dark pantry, but if there was illness in the house, you would hang this plant outside the front door to tell others that there was illness in the house. She can't remember what kind of plant it was, but she was from Wales. She couldn't remember, and she hasn't been able to find out because she says that most of their history is oral and some of it is only resurved for the elders to know. Anybody know what that plant is?
