8 Ways To Set Your Marketing On Autopilot

Posted: Feb 12, 2011 |Comments: 0 |

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to set up your marketing and thennever have to think about it again?

Then all you would have to do is sit back and respond to all the calls and emailsfrom customers that are desperate for your business.

The truth is that it is possible - and their are people doing it right now.

Below I have listed 8 ways that you can set your marketing on autopilot - and to attract the kind of customers that are desperate for your business.

1. Your Website.

Your website should make you a lot of money. Especially if it is easily found online - and it motivates people to buy.

The key is to turn your website into a magnet that attracts lots of visitors and converts them into "mad hungry" buyers.

Tips:

Get your website on the first page of Google for major key words that a lot of your buyingcustomers are looking for. Then make sure your website content is motivating and calls peopleto action.

2. Email Marketing.

Most people will not buy right away when you market to them, but themajority will eventually buy.

You need to be with them consistently over timeso when they are ready to buy - you will be there. And there is no better way than sending them an email once in a while.

Tips:

Start an email campaign that sends out bi monthly or weekly emails toyour customers and prospects. Send out great tips, resources, offers and promotions. Write a compelling subject line, and make it personal.

3. Ads.

Whether in print or online, ads are as effective now as ever. Thebest part is once you find an ad that works, it will bring you customersfor years.

Tips:

Test many different ads using different content (or copy). Find the one that brings in the most customers and run it for a long time.

4. Video

If you didn't know, YouTube is the second largest search engine nextto Google.

If you post a 30 second commercial and people can find it, you willhave a boat load of customers pounding at your door.

Tips:

Put together an interesting 30 second video and upload it to YouTube. Make it interesting, personal and call people to action. Optimize it so that people can find it - and then just wait for the customers!

5. Information Marketing.

People love information. As a matter of fact 80% of people on the internetare searching for it.

If you write some great blogs and articles - people will see you as an expertand they will follow you all the way to the bank.

Tips:

Start a blog and write a great blog post once a week. Turn it into an article then post it on article submission sites that share itwith 500 - 1000 different article directories for free.

6. Workshops and Webinars

Workshops are great because you can market to a ton of people at one time. Its even better if you can go national and do it online as a webinar.

The best part about workshops and webinars is that you can call people to action - and they will make a decision to buy right then and there.

Tips:

Put together great content for a workshop or webinar. Promote it through email, social media and referrals. Provide a powerful, rich, content filled experience and call people to action. Sit back and watch the customers roll in.

7. Affiliates.

Affiliates are just regular people that are highly motivated to tell their circle of friends about your products and services. They are motivated because you give them a percentage of the sales they make.

And if they pre-sell the customers for you they get an even bigger piece of the pie.

Creating a huge affiliate force is a great way to have your own sales force without spending a dime upfront.

Tips:

Create an affiliate program with incentives anywhere between 15 - 30%. Announce your program online, on your social networks, to your referral partners etc. Provide them support in the form of tips, resources, contests and best practices. Set your affiliates loose on the world - and sit back and collect your profits.

8. Commissioned Sales Force

A commissioned sales force is similar to affiliates except you have professional sales people out in the marketplace selling for you.

So you can have an amazing sales team out sending you business - while you just open the doors and take care of customers.

Tips:

Create a commissioned salesperson interview process. Provide motivating commissions (between 10 - 30%). Then get out of their way and let them do what they do best.

These are just a few ways you can turn your marketing on autopilot.

But if do just these, you will never have to worry about making a cold call everagain.
