Commercial snail and grasscutter farminghttp://www.thethyconsulting.com/

Dear Mr. AbdulAzeez,

I normally reside in Nigeria, engaging in some business but I am now in **** on a long visit hoping to return to Nigeria in January or February. For sometime, I have been thinking of going into a medium-scale commercial grasscutter and snail farming on my return.I heard about your activities on snail and grasscutter farming.

The questions I want to ask are as follows:

1. If I send someone to pay cash for the manuals and VCDs on both animals could you courier the packs to my **** Address as I am eager to read them before I return?

2. Since the cost of a set and training is N12,500.00, can I pay it all now and send someone for training on my return or could I pay them separately?

3.What is the duration of the training?

4. Is it advisable to locate both farms and possibly, a small-scale fish farm on the same piece of land? If so, how large will the land be and will it be better along the bank of a river/stream or on a dry land with a water borehole?

I Look forward to hearing from you soon.

John.E

Good day,

Thank you for your interest in our company.

* If you send somebody to pay cash,we can send the packages to you,but you will add postage cost by courier of N****.

*You can pay it all and send someone for training. That is, N12,500 for snail farming + N12,500 for grasscutter farming + N**** cost of postage by courier TOTALLY N****( The materials will be sent to you and you can still send someone down for the practical one on one training).

*The duration of training for each of the project is 3 hours, for both 6 hours.

*Best if you can locate all your farming activities in the same place, not compultory to locate your fish farm along bank of river, dry land with borehole is ok.2or 3 to 6 plots is enough for all of them.

Thank you.

Ismail AbdulAzeez.

The demand for snail in Nigeria and other countries of the world is very high. Exporters as well as consumers demand for it like gold. Presently, we cannot meet the local and export demand for snail but with time we shall solve this problem, at least to an extent. The value of hard currency makes it possible for exporters to source it at all cost, thus making the few available in the market to be quite expensive for an average family to afford.

The snail farming class well explained and the practical was also okay, because we were taken to the snail pens where we had a personal time with the facilitator and also had a feel of how the snails are managed and handled. Aliu B,Lagos State.
