Planets, Sanskrit and astrology
During the last online conference, many visitors were asking for getting more knowledge about the event namely Ratha Sapthami, Planets and astrology.
I would request readers to visit tracking sites for getting movement of Planet SUN for the whole year. The SUN moves around planet earth in between the tropic of cancer and tropic of capricorn, with equator being the central point. One should have knowledge about the same and you may read astronomical sites. The points from where planet SUN takes turn ( tropic of cancer and tropic of capricorn) are called Ratha Sapthami (Ratha means divine car and sapthami means it happens on 5th day from New moon).
All the planets in the Solar system follow planet SUN and they are all held together intact by the SUN's Gravitational pull. There are 10 million such Solar system in the space. Now Nasa and great scientists are in the process of trying to learn and get pictures of other Solar systems.
So far as Astrology is concerned, which is meant for assessing their impact on planet EARTH, have found out that only planets ( 9 planets) in our solar system are really dictating our lives. Great sages have not taken into account even some of the planets in our Solar system namely, Uranus/Neptune/Pluto, because they are so far from us, and moves from one constellation to other once in our life time only. Great sages have found only upto planet Saturn affects us in practice.
Regarding the planets Rahu and Kethu ( visible only during eclipse) are so close to earth and therefore are more powerful than other planets. They are powerful due to the fact that they are visible by blocking planet SUN and Moon partially or completely. We all are alive because of SUN only and when a power invisible blocks SUN, it must have enormous powers. Hence, Both these planets has the power of nullifying all good effects (of other planets), because they are very close to earth.
Though I have been telling all these things, some students struggle to understand the same. The reason for this are due to following facts:
1. There are many people who are in the habit of criticising astrology and make people to get biased against Astrology.
2. Many astrologers predict fundamentally wrong and this demotivates the people.
3. Most unfortunate point I have noted is that mostly astrologers do not have full knowledge in Sanskrit and cannot speak or read.
Astrologers should first learn Sanskrit and speak fluently. They must also study and sing All four Vedas ( Rig/Yajur/Sama/Atharva) regularly. While singing the same, rhythm should be proper. As everyone are aware sanskrit do not have grammer/ written words and it is only spoken language. As Devanagiri is used, the sounds created are different. This sankrit is the Mother of all languages in the world. No one knows its origin. But those who are talking amd chanting Sanskrit will realize the truth that this language has some special powers.
In fact Sanskrit is the language to communicate with planets. It is just not enough to speak this language while praying GOD, but it must be done with perfect rhythm. The sounds are passed on from generation to generation without any change. I find surprising that most of americans and europeans show great interest and are learning well. Whereas in India many are ignorant.
Unless an astrologer is thorough with Sanskrit/vedas and its real meanings, he/she may not predict properly. Because only Vedas are the mode with which we will know many different invisible powers that control us. Planets are also chanting only sanskrit while they are in rotation of Planet SUN. All invisible powers are slaves to sanskrit. I would like to mention here about a realtime events.
A village in one of the states of India, people were motivated to learn and talk sanskrit. Those people ( not so educated), took interest and started talking in sankrit. When I happened to meet the village people, I felt very happy to note that none of the people have any bad habits and are leading a high level spiritual life. Before learning sankrit, the villagers all had bad habits like anyother Indian village, but today it is a totally different .
The enjoyment and pleasure one derives by chanting sanskrit mantras, cannot be explained in words but has to be practised to enjoy the same. The pleasure is also invisible and hence cannot be explained in words.
There are many videos available in the web and all the have the opportunity to learn and enjoy. Atleast four words a day, if one recites with rhythm The vedas, and understand the meaning, no other prayers are needed.

YATHO DHARMAHA..., THATHO KRISHNAHA...
YATHO KRISHNAHA..., THATHO JAYAHA.....
The meaning of the above are:
wherever Dharma is upheld, Lord Krishna will be there and where Lord krishna is present, it is only Victory.
Now one can practice in anyother languages. Try to find whether one gets the same effects as reciting in sanskrit?. That is the greatness of this spiritual language. Without knowldege in sanskrit, astrologers cannot predict properly using astrology.
