Selecting an Auspicious Day for Announcing Public Issue

The following question was put to me on 22.9.1994 at 11.50.A.M. in Bombay by the querrent:

“When I should bring out Public Issue”

2. The native does not have birth details (DOB, TOB, and POB). However from the name of the querrent, it is signified by the sign Taurus ruled by Venus and the name of the company start with alphabet J falling in the sign Capricorn ruled by Saturn.

3. The planetary position on the date of question was as under:

 Planetary position:
                        R          D         M

Ascendant                    07        18        21

Sun                              05        05        14

Moon                           00        02        30

Mars                            02        29        03

Mercury                       06        00        53

Jupiter                          06        19        33

Venus                           06        16        58

Saturn ®                      10        13        35

4. From the above chart it is found that the planets Mars, Moon and Mercury did not have the requsite strength. Apart from the fact the these planets had less degree-power but were positioned in in auspicious hoses i.e. 6th, 8th and 12th. However, marked improvement is indicated by Navansa Chart with Jupiter and Venus coming to the 4th house (Jupiter in its own) indicating good response from the public to the posed question. However, some difficulties and mental tension cannot be ruled out. With regard to ‘dasha; Ketu-Venus was over on 6.12.1994 by the time preliminaries may be successfully completed. Ketu –Sun would continue up to 2.5.1994.

5. Now we come to the selection of date for Public Issue in the month of January 1995.

6. The first date selected for consideration was 4.1.1995 but Mercury enters Capricorn on 4th Jan 95 itself and thus the Mercury, the kingpin of trading, is not having the strength. However, Mercury gains strength on 5th Janurary 1995. This day is recommended time upto 7.53 A.M. (if possible) later between 12.26 P.M. TO 2.01 P.M.

Then the following days were suggested:

  1.             9.1.1995                      1.15 P.M to 3.45 P.M
  2.             12.1.1995                    and both best as the Moon is the
  3.             13.1.1995                    exaltation sign

                                                 1.40 P.M to 3.34 p.m. and

                                                1.370 P.M. to 3.31 P.M

15.1.1995        Sun enters Capricorn. There is also Venus Jupiter conjunctions

15.1.1995 to    Budha aditya yoga i.e. Sun and mercury were together.

After 21.1.1995, Mercury would be getting combust/

Mercury got Retrograde on 31.1.1995 and became direct on 17.2.1995. This period may not work well unless absolutely considered necessary.

7. the above predictive notes are based on the known and accepted principles of astrology and significations of planets Nakshtras and their placement. Therefore, no responsibility is owned by me or by the Astro Research Institute for any action taken or loss suffered.

8. With regard to Mahurta, some of the laid down principles, cannot be ignored, For example, for such auspicious works, Rikta Tithis (4th.9th.14th) are normally avoided until some beneficial help is coming form Nakshtras ruling the day and the planetary position. It is known that 100% perfect ‘Mahurta’ is not possible. For example some of the astrologers do not recommend such projects when any of the planets is in its retrograde motion. But, things cannot wait for a long period and the available Mahurta has to be utilized. Some of other principles are listed below:

  1. Days ruled by Kritika, Moola, Punarvasu and Dhanshita should normally be avoided.
  2. Rikta Tithis as mentioned above may also be avoided.
  3. Moon’s conjunction with Mars and Saturn should be avoided so that there is no litigation and quarrels:
  4. 10th house of the native should be strong as well as of the company.
  5. The Moon has to be in favorable position i.e. in Taurus (exaltation sign preferred).
  6. Rising sign preferred is that of Mercury i.e. Gemini or Virgo.

 9. Here a word about corporate astrology becomes in evitable. The second house in the chart of the company (here the chart of the day selected for announcing the public issue) represent investments, financial liquidity, financial conditions, securities and stocks including dealing the stock exchanges. Similarly, the solar the lunar ingress needs to be considered. The 5th house signifies the general attitude of shareholders (expected to be shareholders). The main significator of Share and share market is Jupiter but at the same time the role of the Sun Pivot in astrology, the Moon and Mars and Mercury become equally important. Accordingly, the day has to be selected with reference to the strength of these planets. The head of the institution company must possess the required strength power valour so as to be a good administrator not amounting to terror in the hearts of the employees.
