    Package Holidays to Cuba

If you really want to get to know this amazing Caribbean island then try to avoid the cheap classic package holiday that sells flights and accommodation for as little as 499.00 sterling pounds per person based on 2 people sharing a standard room. There is actually nothing wrong with the quality of accommodation or flights but to travel for 9 hours on a plane across the Atlantic to end up secluded in a private beach is definitely the worst way to know Cuba. Santa Isabel Hotel in Havana

The offer for entertainment that Old Havana has, with five centuries of history in its account, constitutes an excellent option. This part of the city which was declared by UNESCO cultural heritage for being an architectural treasure of the world, has a large tourist infrastructure which brings us to mind the colonial stage. There are more than 30 thousand buildings that preserve thousands of stories. It can be seen in perfect harmony among fortresses, churches, tourist commercial and cultural centers. Paseo Del Prado: Havana's Most Famous Promenade

Officially named as Paseo de Marti for a decree that issued that all the main avenues or streets in Cuba should carry the names of the Cuban heroes, El Paseo del Prado is the name that among Cubans one of the greatest avenues in Cuba receives. The Paseo del Prado is one of the prettiest main streets in the old part of the city. It begins at the Central Park Hotel and leads down to the seafront known as the Malecon, which gives this avenue its reputation. A wide walkway lined with trees and stone benches bisects the street, while in either side you can see the columns and arches of the mostly residential neocolonial balcony buildings, painted in a whole host of colors. The works of this impressive boulevard began out walls in 1770 (it is important to say that what is now the Old Havana was enclosed with walls and its doors were closed at 9 o’clock every day, a tradition that still remains and the ceremony is known as El Cañonazo) and it was finished in the middle of 1830 during the term of office of Captain Miguel Tacon.
