Shakti Carola Navran - ArticlesShakti Carola Navran is a jeweler and astrologer who works out of her studio on Maui, Hawaii. She is originally from Cologne, Germany, where she attended art school and was also trained in the traditional European apprenticeship system by master jewelers, attaining the rank of journey woman. She owned an art gallery in Cologne for seven years and began her independent practice as a jeweler in her gallery. In Germany she also began her lifelong study and practice of astrology and many other spiritual traditions and practices. She has been an astrologer for 30 years and gave readings all over Germany. She is a master practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). She has given seminars on NLP, hypnotherapy, and meditation and healing with gemstones.
Shakti has been trained in many forms of mind and body healing. She has studied with teachers of many different spiritual orientations, including Buddhism, Sufism, Diamond Heart Approach, and with the Oneness University in India. Shakti uses astrological counseling to help clients understand the major themes and challenges of their lives. She uses the astrological reading to design a highly personalized piece of jewelry to meet the specific needs of each client. In her seminars she uses gemstones to help participants achieve peace and joy through a deep experience of their own inner presence. Shakti was motivated to write the book Jewelry and Gems for Self- Discovery by her desire to share her fresh and highly original approach with jewelers and all people who wear jewelry and seek personal growth.
