Locksmithing as a profession has been around for many centuries. The first lock was actually invented somewhere around 445 B.C., and was composed of a wooden casing and tumblers. Additionally, a wooden pin was used to open this device. It served the same purpose as today – for security measures, and was used on both doors and city gates.

Microsoft is the undisputed champion in the desktop and laptop market. However technology is trending towards ultra portable devices over more traditional computers. These devices are a market that Microsoft has yet to truly grasp. So who owns the future - Microsoft or Apple? I would bet on Apple.

There has been much musing of late about what direction Apple computers are likely to take. While there was a recent Mac Mini refresh, the yearly Macbook Pro refresh has fallen behind schedule. Furthermore, the WWDC, or Worldwide Developers' Conference, had next to no discussion of the Mac.
