Al Case was born in 1948. He began his martial arts training in 1967, and has kenpo, karate, wing chun, aikido, Northern Shaolin Ton Toi, Southern Shaolin Fut Ga, Pa Kua Chang, Tai Chi Chuan, various Ocanic weapons, and more. He became a writer for the martial arts magazines in 1982, and wrote dozens of articles. He had his own column in Inside Karate. He has also written poetry, short stories, novels, written scores of martial arts books, and produced dozens of instructional DVDs. He is the originator of Matrixing Technology (Matrix Martial Arts), and Neutronics. He is the founder of the Church of the Martial Arts (Monkeyland).
