Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) is an emerging natural alternative to synthetic hormone replacement. Bioidenticals provide hormones that can replace those you have lost due to age, that you have too little of due to an imbalance, or that are somehow cuasing you problems. Estrogen is the most common bioidentical formulated, though progesterone and testosterone are also a target along with several others.
