Alan Wighton first became interested in cancer when he attended a conference with speakers from both at home and overseas. He was at first surprised at what they were saying then shocked at what was being said about the cancer industry. Most people are ignorant why there is so much cancer now and because of our ignorance we have to rely on our health care providers, which are our doctors for information so we can make decisions on our treatment options. Unfortunately many of the facts about cancer and its treatments in use today are not true and that's why so many people are not surviving.

Conventional treatments for cancer which focus on removing the symptoms instead of the underlying cause of the disease, is doomed to failure in most cases because the growth that has suddenly appeared is not the problem. A cancer growth anywhere in the body is just a sign that something is wrong and until that something is addressed, the problem is likely to resurface again. Healing the body of cancer means treating the whole body, not just the symptoms.

Cancer is a wake up call; it's your body telling you that you've done something wrong so your focus has to be to correct the reasons which caused it to appear. We have been brainwashed today into believing that cancer has appeared because of chance or bad luck and must be removed quickly or it will spread. That is not true. What the body needs is to address the reasons why it grew in the first place and that can only be achieved naturally.

It has long been known that all cancers are related to the food we choose to eat and the food we don't eat. Cancer is a disease in which lifestyle factors; especially nutrition plays a crucial role. Many people still assume that the only options for treating cancer are the mainstream therapies of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy but nothing could be further from the truth. There is a much more effective way to eliminate cancer which is non toxic and gentle on the body but unlike our mainstream treatments no one can profit from it. This way simply involves removing the reasons why the cancer first appeared and the body will then heal itself as it does when someone cuts a finger or gets a bruise, an infection or the flue or even a broken bone. This is our body naturally healing itself so why don't we apply this same way to heal the body of cancer.

Many cancer patients have been successfully treated by our modern medical system yet have still succumbed to the disease. The reason being, our medical system solely focuses on purging the body of these foreign growths but that won't stop cancer from spreading to another area. Treating cancer successfully doesn't mean just removing the growth, it means making changes to make sure the primary cancer growth doesn't metastasis or spread to another area because it is then that it becomes dangerous

The way we now live has changed and the increase of cancer now has paralleled this change. Our food is different thanks to supermarkets; we live a more sedentary lifestyle with motorcars for transport and television to entertain us. We are exposed to hundreds of chemicals which come in many forms, many of which are in the homes we live in. This way of living is called modern and one of the side effects is cancer and that's because these are the factors that are causing it.

We often hear how someone had just died of cancer but bravely fought to the end. What they really mean by fighting is coping with the side affects of the toxic treatments. What I mean by fighting cancer is learning about it and being proactive by making changes, especially to the factors that caused it to appear. It's a battle that can be won but not by treating the cancer, it's by removing its initial causes.
