I have been blessed with many experiences. I have played lead guitar in a rock band, airplane pilot, astronomer, teacher, network administrator, radio announcer and engineer, Ham radio operator, computer consultant, School Administrator, and author. Of these I like playing guitar and writing best. My wife says I will never grow up. I hope she's right.

Two of the greatest mysteries of man: Does the soul exist and what is time? Are they related? I didn't think so until I began writing a paper on time and in the process of attempting to explain what time is I realized that I had stumbled onto evidence of the existence of the 'soul', or an entity that is separate from the physical body that we think of as "us". The argument for that hypothesis follows:

After many years of waiting for science to come up with a logical answer for the existence of the spirit, I believe that time has finally come.

Man's greatest mystery. What happens when we die? The media is filled with documentaries, testimonies and opinions on what death is. These range from total pragmatism and objectivism to highly emotional, religious beliefs in the afterlife. What REALLY happen, both from a physical perspective, and from a spiritual perspective. Part 1 of a 2 part article.

Bible scholars and theologians call him Adam. Scientists and evolutionists call him "Australopithecus". The question remains, who was the first man? Its possible that there is an explanation that allows both to be right.

In the last 7 years, 6 of the top 12 largest earthquakes EVER have occured. They all have something in common. Most of them lie in the area of the deepest place on earth, called the Marianas Trench. This area is famous for the many attempts to find its bottom by "DIVERS" in heavily armored vehicles exploring the ocean's bottom. If there is anywhere on earth that can be called "divers' places, it would be here.

Recently some documentaries on TV have dealt with Heaven and Hell. The obvious question for Christians is "are they real places". If we believe Jesus and the Bible, we have to answer "of course". This is accepted on faith. However, an unbeliever may question such a statement and ask "How are they possible"? It has only been within the last 20 years that a serious answer has become plausible, through, of all things, science.

Whenever you talk about Jesus and the time of the end, inevitably someone suggests that we are not to know when the time will be. They always quote the passage in Matthew 24:36, " But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of Heaven, but my Father only." as "proof" that we will not know when the end will be. History is full of so-called "prophets" who claimed to know the day of the end of the age, and were consequently proven wrong

The subject of the creation of the universe is divided into two camps, the scientific and the religious. Most Christians believe the book of Genesis describes how God created the universe, not in allegorical terms, but in specific details. Most scientists see it as simply a matter of science and would rather religion stay out of the issue. How about both camps recognizing that both groups are seeking the same thing, THE TRUTH

I have always been fascinated by the subject of "light". It was the first "substance" created by God. Science cannot explain what it is, except to say that it consists of a massless particle/wave called a photon, and always travels at the same speed. It is referred to many times in the Bible. How are "light and darkness" related to "good and evil"?

It has been suggested that the entire universe could be reconstructed in an computer with enough memory and processing power. It would take 10 followed by 100 zeros, bytes of memory. I believe there is the possibility that when we are exploring the most minute particles of physics, we may actually be interacting with the basic bits of a computer program, in which we are all characters in the program. Of course, if there is a program, there must be a programmer, A CREATOR.
