This website was subsequently purchased by Playbill.com, the website of the official Broadway publication. He managed Playbill.com for four years. While at Playbill, he created the Playbill Club, one of the most widely used online mechanisms for marketing discounted Broadway tickets. While there he also created live content for coverage of such things as Broadway show openings, a daily radio program and the Tony Awards.
While McGibbon’s background is in theatre he has developed a love of technology and found ways to combine those two loves. He left Playbill.com to join theatre.com where he had a brief tenure.
