I\'m Andy and I am a web developer and an Internet marketer. I love to explore the Internet and through this exploration I read an awful lot of information. Any time that a person chooses to send information over the Internet that is not encrypted they are running the risk of others becoming privy to that information. This problem leads to people wondering how to hide IP address information. There are several reasons why you would want to hide your Internet Protocol address and those reasons include avoiding identity theft, keeping work information private and keeping things private from people with ill intentions as well as nosy family and friends.

The Internet is a place where people often feel safely anonymous and though this can be immensely freeing, it is also a concept that is inherently flawed. Unless you take care to cover your tracks, you will find that there are ways for people to track you down and the consequences can be anywhere from irritating to dire. People have lost jobs and marriages when information of where they have browsed online gets out and other people have had to deal with having their identity stolen.
