Caring For PeopleIt is not easy to have a burden for people who are not related to you. It takes God for someone to be compassionate and do something for people who are in need. We as men are selfish and self-centered. Thinking and being there for others is a gift from God. At times, it requires a lot of self sacrifice. When we get born again, we are so careful to do everything perfectly and please God in all that we do. We think before we talk and treat people better. Our love for God is very intense. We want to tell everyone about this wonderful thing we feel and preach to everyone though most of the time we are not even sure of what we are saying. We spend a lot of time with God in prayer and reading his word. The Workers Are FewMathew 9:35-37. When Jesus was preaching the word to the people, many came from all parts of the world to see him and hear from him. Most expected for God to move in there lives and break them free from the bondage that suppressed them. At one time, he looked at them and saw what they had to go through to just come and be ministered to by him. Some even fainted from hunger. The Parable of the Good SamaritanJesus told a story of how a certain man was attacked by robbers who beat him up and left him for dead. As he lay on the road unconscious, a priest passed by and had one look at him then went his way, passing on the other side of the road. A few minutes later, a Levi passed by and did exactly what the priest did and went his way too. God Blessing You FinanciallyMany people miss the formula of how to get their financial breakthrough. It’s all very simple; you have to understand why God does things. He will not bless you so as you have a fat bank account. He wants you to have money so as you can feed, educate and shelter the needy. He wants you to be able to make a lasting change in someone else life. That’s the only time he will give you more than you need. The day you will truly understand this principle, you will be on your way to financial overflow Where Does God Want You to Spend Most of Your TimeSome people would say the church. If this was true, God would have made everyday a Sabbath. Jesus too would have spent all his time in the temple of God. God wants you to spend most of your time where you are of real use and are impacting on people's lives. If every one of us was truly being a good steward of what God has given us, most of the problems we see today would be a thing of the past. Asking For God's HelpWhen challenges encompass us, as they will sometimes, what is your reaction? Do you run to God for help or do you just opt to do it on your own? What happens when we get a challenge is rush and get a quick solution for it. We most often than not do not remember that God wants to be there for us and take us through all that we face in this life. When all does not work, we remember him and ask if he can intervene. Living for GodWhen we give our lives to God, we ask him to come and be our Lord and Savior. What this means is that we are not the drivers of our lives and destinies anymore but Jesus Christ is. We stop living for ourselves but for God. We ask that his will may be done in our lives. Whatever he wants to do in us, he may do to the glory and honor of his Holy name. Being Joyful All the TimeProblems are a part of our every day life. We will always have a challenge we are facing at any given time in our lives. The Bible says, 'Many are the afflictions of the righteous but God delivers him from them all.' Psalms 34:19. We should therefore go on in life knowing that it is a battle field. We should be armed to the teeth with the word of God in order to overcome all the tribulations. Expecting God's Power in Your LifeWhen God promises us greatness and overflow in our lives, we can choose to walk in that word or believe what we can see. Most of the time, God's word and the situation we are in may contradict. The problem with most Christians is that we do not want to walk in faith but in what we see. God does not operate like that. When he gives us a word, he intends for us to walk in faith believing that it will come to pass no matter what.
