It is unfortunate that so many people are unaware of their options for binocular straps. Often they are under the impression that binocular straps are only one dimensional. You know, the kind that just hangs on your neck and swings around out of control. That is not what you should get. You know better.
Let me just tell you I have finally found what I’ve been looking for my whole life – an optics harness. It has taken a very long time. I don’t know where it’s been hiding. I’ve always known I’ve wanted something like this, but that’s just it. I didn’t know it existed!! An optics harness does exist though, and now that I’ve found her, I think I’ll die happy.
First of all, think of all of the practical uses for the shoulder harness. Just think! The most obvious ones that come to mind would probably be to use them for binoculars and cameras. Those, alone, would be enough. There are many more. Let’s focus on those, though. Anyone, and I mean anyone, who owns either a set of binoculars or a camera absolutely must invest in a shoulder harness. The explanation will follow.
Camera harnesses are possibly the best investment one could make for their photography equipment. Think about all the time and money you spend on your picture taking device. Think about the hours of pure enjoyment and the self gratification when you capture those precious moments forever. That is what you are investing in with every choice you make (or do not make) regarding your equipment.
The camera neck strap has the potential to ruin thousands of people’s lives. Innocent photographers are subjected to it time and time again. The makers of this futile accessory have teamed up with camera distributors to package this otherwise hopeless accessory so that literally millions of people will be exposed to it. Why do all cameras come with a camera neck strap? Simple – it’s because otherwise they couldn’t be sold.
What constitutes the best binoculars straps? Truly, they are not all created equal. Not even close. You see, binoculars straps should be designed to hold optics in a comfortable and convenient way. The generic types hold optics. They do not, however, do so comfortably or conveniently.
The average birdwatcher or hiker needs their hands fee to climb. But they also need to be free of neck pain so that they can enjoy their day (and several days after). There is no better way to do this than with a binocular strap harness. It’s the best kept secret. No doubt your life will change and you will get the most fantastic views if you try the binocular strap harness.
If you’re looking for binoculars strap options, then clearly you are a serious user of your optics. No one just goes out and buys accessories for items like these unless they really mean business. So, now that we know you mean business, we can assume you want the real thing.
There are several ways to carry around your photo taker. The novices use the generic single camera straps that come with the equipment. The slightly more experienced will put it in a case that is stuffed into a pocket or a backpack. Either way, the generic single camera straps are not the way to go.
The word, ‘chest’ in binocular chest harness sounds kind of weird. I mean, how do you hook your optics up to your chest?? It’s kind of crazy. But what the title, ‘binocular chest harness’ leaves out is that it also uses your back and shoulders to strap your optics in. Did you notice I left out the neck? Awesome, right? You have no idea.
