Exist 2 classes of antibiotics: bacteriocidal (witch kill the bacteria) and bacteriostatic (witch prevent the bacterial growth). The antibiotics are produced nowadays on a large scale using usually aerobic fermentation of different kind of microorganisms. Some newer antibiotics are produced artificially in chemical laboratories, using different biochemical processes. What is the Prostate Gland and What Diseases Can DevelopThe prostate is a gland (an exocrine gland more exactly) present only in the men body. It is a part of the men reproductive system. Women don't have such an organ. The main prostate disorders are: prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer. The prostate have also a big role in the process of ejaculation, because of the ejaculatory ducts, which lie within the prostate gland. The prostate is often called the "male G-spot". The prostate cancer is one of the most common cancer. Corneal Transplant - to Do or not to DoThe cornea is the transparent tissue seen on the front of the eye. It covers the iris and the lens. Together with the lens, the cornea refracts the light entering the eye, helping it to focus on the retina. So, for this function, the cornea is one of the most important part of the eye anatomy. It is good to know that the cornea is non vascular tissue (there are not blood vessels in it). This feature makes the transplanted cornea to not be rejected by the receiver.
