If you're going to protect your health, exercise and nutrition are not enough. Avoiding toxins in the environment may be vital. An article by Scientific America dated July 20, 2009 reported a possible link may exist between a pesticide found in fish and the risk of developing diabetes, according to the magazine. The pesticide DDT which was band some 35 years ago break down to DDE which becomes more concentrated as it moves up the food chain.
Studies show you could lose pounds by just drinking water. Now I know this isn't a revelation. Most weight lose experts have been touting this for years. We've said drink a glass before each meal. This has been a popular weight loss secret. Now second study confirms this. The new study publicized in Discovery News dated Aug 23 2010 "Drinking Water Proven to Help Weight Loss" has found that dieters that drink two cup of water before each meal lost weight.
Medical science today has no safe solutions to lose weight; diet pills, stomach stapling, liposuction, "the ring" as it's called and many more. None of these are safe ways to lose weight. Most doctors have very little training in health and nutrition. It's not their fault.
Day after day we are exposed to toxins through food, water and air. Some of these toxins are natural occurring and other are manmade. Prolonged and even sporadic exposure can and probably will affect your overall health.
