Have you ever told yourself you want to impact more people? Chances are if you're reading this, you want to make a difference in the lives of others. Right? You want to reach out and help other people with the challenges they're facing. It doesn't matter if you're a business coach, massage therapist, voice teacher, author, speaker, consultant, or jewelry maker. Underneath what you "do" is the desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
What would it look like to lead your life in every moment of every day? I've been asking myself this question lately. You'd think being the leader that I am out there in the world with my business... that I'd be leading everywhere in my life.
For years I struggle with asking for help. It seems to be a common thing among many entrepreneurs... the feeling that you have to "do it all." This feeling usually lies at the surface for us, because entrepreneurs are typically capable, confident, creative, "go getter" kind of people. For most of my life I've been conditioned to march to the beat of a familiar drum... the drum that says, "fall into line, don't break the mold, do what everyone else is doing, follow the pack, don't make waves, fit in with the crowd, etc." The beat of this drum had become so familiar to me that I didn't even notice it was beating in the background of my life.

What does it mean to live a spiritual life... to really, truly, deeply live from the place of ease, grace, joy and love no matter what shows up in the world around you? This is a question I've been pondering for a few months now, and one that is getting answered as I face some challenges and changes in my life, business and family.
There's been something missing from the business success principles that have been taught for decades. When you're on a path of growth and expansion in your business, the strategies, tactics and principles you learn are only HALF of what you need to know.
As I reflect on that great journey (and the success that's come since then) I'm reminded of how drastically writing a book can change your business, and your life. The journey of the past year has been more transformational and expansive than I dreamed possible.
In today's fast-paced world (a world that is changing by the minute), one of the most important things you ought to be practicing is taking time for yourself. Especially if after reading that first line, there's a voice in your head saying, "But I don't have time. There's too much to do.
What do you think of when you contemplate the word responsible? I want you to be honest with yourself here. Do you secretly wish you weren't responsible for as much as you are? Are you trying to get out of responsibilities because they're just "too much"? Have you been unrealistic about how much you can commit to and still uphold your responsibilities? Do you find yourself blaming others for things that don't go your way?
