Cross Cultural Marketer & International Sales Specialist Online - B2B - International Lead Generation My Professional Bio 25 Years in International Marketing and Sales My career in copywriting started almost 30 years ago, although I did not know it at the time. You see, copywriting was part of responsibilities as an international sales and marketing executive. But I also had many more responsibilities as well. Necessity is the Mother of Invention Over the years, I worked for a couple of large North American companies with small European offices and even smaller international marketing budgets. This meant two things: You had to be resourceful All printed marketing materials had to pull in sales Small budgets and high sales expectations do have a few advantages. After all, this is where I learned the value of lead generation marketing materials. It is also where I learned to see the whole picture. Everything that helps to bring in sales. And to look for everything you can tweak to... again bring in more sales. But I have lived here for 20 years now, and this is home to my daughters.... the youngest one is just finishing high school, so I might become a world wanderer once again in a year or two. Special Skill in Crafting International Offers As an international sales specialist, the best skill I have is the ability to identify the best way to position your offer for a different culture. During my career I noticed how more senior executives always seemed to turn to me to ask for my opinion on a certain type of subject. This is when I realized that I had a particular skill in adapting an offer. Adapting an offer that worked in one country and finding out how to make it work in another country. Another culture. I don't know exactly why I'm good at this, or where I've developed these skills. It is probably from a mixture of seeing the whole picture, thinking outside of the box, solid cross-cultural skills and international business skills. But I do know that during my career as an international marketer and sales executive, this is why people sought my opinion. And I can do the same thing for you and your business.
