Dave and Deb are Canada\\\'s Adventure Couple. They have traveled to over 35 countries where they have taken on extreme adventures from Cycling from Cairo, Egypt to Cape Town, South Africa and Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Every new adventure takes them to remote corners of the world where they paddle, hike, scuba dive and trek their way around the globe.

A small twin engine airplane is the only way to get to Gunung Mulu National Park in Sarawak Borneo, and looking out the window you will be overwhelmed with the vastness of the jungle that lay below. Once you have landed on the isolated runway, you truly feel in the middle of nowhere.

The Chao Praya River is a wonderful escape from the noise and pollution of Bangkok. I prefer to take the tourist boat. It is quieter, the seats are comfortable and it doesn’t spew exhaust that chokes you as ride along. Make sure to stop and sample some of the many attractions before you leave however, because the boat stops at every major tourist attraction along the river. These sights are some of the most spectacular in the city and a must for every tourist.

When visiting Peru, there is one place that nobody should ever miss. Machu Picchu is one of the world’s greatest ruins and a must see destination for anyone visiting this colorful land. Trying to understand how the Incan Empire built these structures so many centuries ago is mind-boggling and to think about how it has survived the elements and remained in tact is even more puzzling. It is truly a wonder of the world.

However if you are lucky enough visit this southern gem, it will not disappoint. Not only is it a beautiful place to explore, it is also very reasonable at eight South African Rands to a dollar. You can stretch your money a long way there and spend as long as you want in the City known as the Mother of Africa.
