On behalf of the Design and Technology Alliance Against Crime, the Design Council has appointed a team of specialist designers to draw up a new kind of pint glass to help reduce the number of injuries from the Eighty Seven Thousand incidents involving glassings each year, which costs an estimated GBP100 million in NHS, police and court costs year on year.
