With a background in Fashion Design and Landscape Design it only seemed fitting that my next love would be Home Decor. Originally, my interest was to open a brick and mortar retail store but with the economy as it was I felt the risk was too great. So the next best thing was to create an internet store. The idea came to me in June 2008 and 7 months later City Home and Garden came to fruition. The intent of my store is to offer customers beautiful hand crafted home decor products, many of which are made by North America Artisans as well as including very helpful decorating tips for both the indoors and outdoors.

Does your home have curb appeal? Is it esthetically pleasing or does it go unnoticed? Here are a few tips to improve the look of your home. If you have a small front yard with grass consider removing all the grass and add a garden with stepping stones, natural rocks and low maintenance shrubs and plants. Grass is time consuming to maintain and requires frequent watering to keep it looking at its best. A garden, in my opinion, is the best solution if you live in the city with a small yard.
