There are numerous indicators one should keep in mind to identify a relationship is insidiously falling apart. For this article I will discuss these indicators applicable between couples interested in nurturing their relationship; however those same behavioral characteristics would be applicable in a professional setting.
Many have said that the golden era, of the American industrial explosion took place during the economic transformation while the above mentioned industrial leaders were in the forefront of security their name in American history. One may asked, what made them click and what explanation do we have about their leadership characteristics, that made them the men they were.
If you want to be an inspiration to others then you want to be in the field of Love. In my view one cannot inspire without having a sincere desire to help and/or love people. If you want to be a leader then at some point you will need to be in a position whereby you will need to motivate others.
Great leaders have always been posed with the challenge of pressures from numerous directions; in accommodating all. Most of us recognize the thick skin leaders must have to be successful and effective. In most situations leaders want to be in a position to appease and keep everyone content and often dread the position of having to say No in order to maintain the solvency of an organization.
When one reads the title to this article; immediately the thought of politics will be aroused. What will come on the minds of many who are politically inclined was Presidents Ronald Reagan’s political philosophy of peace through strength, (strength being leadership). President Reagan quite frankly was a political genius as he thoroughly understood the surrounding political dimensions of his environment and what it took to reach peace through leadership.
It is rare to find leadership at full throttle than in the area of negotiations. I cannot think of to many professions that can top the demonstration of leadership more so than in the arena of negotiations. One might ask, well do I have to be a top notch negotiator of a large organization in order to demonstrate my leadership talents.
This article will discuss the concept of reviewing leadership from a perspective that is a typical. When speaking about leadership; one needs to assess the common denominators associated with the perceptions of leadership and how they impact outcomes. This article will not only discuss how in my years in the professional setting and those I learned while surviving the street environment exposed me to how I observed relationships that were quite honestly based on lies and neither party or parties new it. I mean how could one think that a relationship should even be considered a relationship if it were based on lies? Is a lying relationship a relationship worthy of discussion?
Let me in this article attempt to convey a minute interpretation of what I think Socrates and Plato thought thousands of years ago about relationships. Now the reason why it is important to explore the thinking of such heavy philosophical hitters is because of the influence they left upon western civilization. Socrates was about 41 years old when Plato was born and Plato the Student of Socrates was about 29 years old when Socrates was put to death for literally speaking his mind.
