English Premier League (EPL) the Top Football League in Europe

As of the 2009–10 season qualification for the UEFA champions League changes. The top four teams in the Premier League qualify for the UEFA Champions League, with the top three teams directly entering the group stage. The Premier League was recently promoted to the top of the UEFA rankings of European leagues based on their performances in European competitions over a five-year period.
