![]() Erica Nielsen - ArticlesErica Nielsen is a writer, researcher, and dance ethnologist. She studied anthropology at Macalester College, and has conducted fieldwork in the U.S., France, and Bulgaria. She taught dance cultural studies courses for two years at Arizona State University, where she earned a MFA in Dance and wrote a chapter for the book Balkan Dance by Anthony Shay. While teaching at ASU, Erica developed an interest in teaching methodologies and the development of new learning tools.
