I have been an active writer for over a decade and published my first book in August 2007. This marked the start of Varsity Blah, a personal development blog that has now received almost 250,000 hits from over 125 countries worldwide. The best entries have been compiled into my latest book, which was reviewed on Authonomy.com: “This is some very insightful stuff… The way the book is structured, paired with your capabilities of drawing great narrative, leads this on the right path. This cleanses the mind.”

Is stress basically due to incessant mental chatter that gets triggered by some unpleasant events? If yea, then stress management is all about managing the out of control mental chatter. Right?
Isn't the property market absolutely amazing right now? No, I'm not being sarcastic nor was this written years ago. With so many bargains around (and interest rates finally coming down), now is the perfect time to take advantage. Obviously you have to be smart about what you do, but fortunately there are great resources like Rich Dad's Success Stories by Robert Kiyosaki and Making Money out of Property in South Africa by Jason Lee. They suggest the following:
Carpe diem. Life is short. Live each day as if it were your last. We've all heard advice like this before but most of us struggle to take it. This post outlines three keys of embracing the present.
It's been said that most people fear public speaking more than death. I always found that a little strange but it's starting to make sense. That's because it's also been said the number one fear we all have is the fear of rejection. We're afraid the world will somehow look down on us as inadequate.
Ah, birthdays. They're the one time each year the world is forced to acknowledge our existence via text messages and/or meaningful gifts. Naturally, they're something we all look forward to and turning 21 is something I couldn't wait to do. It would be a Friday, which meant there were no worries about staying up late. It would also be the last day of term, which meant I could really party guilt-free. It would be perfect.
Do you remember the iPhone? It was that thing unveiled with much brouhaha a few years ago and launched some months later before production cutbacks kicked in. So, was it all just a case of overheated hype or was the iPhone actually worth the drama? Well, I'm not here to talk about merit of the product itself simply because I honestly can't say. As far as I know, it might very well be the best thing ever. Then again, it might not.
Waiting for luggage at the airport carousel is typically quite dull. So imagine my surprise when I bumped into South African rugby fullback, Percy Montgomery. Being a less than ardent follower of the sport, I didn't know whether congratulations or condolences were in order. Besides, the last thing I wanted was to be the umpteenth fan desperate to finally know his brand of shampoo.
Now that we've covered the foundations as well as making the purchase, we now look at what to do when things go right (and when they go wrong).
In continuance of the foundation parts discussed in Part 1, we now look at when to buy, what to pay, and how many you need.
So, you think you can invest? Hopefully after reading this series and taking the investing advice of some of the financial world's greatest minds, you'll be a success too.
