Adaptive and assistive technology devices - making life easier for people with physical disabilities
The term "assistive technology devices" is used to describe products which are designed to provide additional accessibility to people with physical or cognitive difficulties, impairments and disabilities.
There are some varieties of loud alarm clocks which are designed for use by people living with hearing difficulties.
People with disabilities are just like the rest of us. They go through life trying to make the best of each and every day and sometimes it is a pretty rocky path for most of them. Ranging from the little child in a wheelchair, to the teenager with a six-inch thick lens pair of glasses, to the old man who can barely hear you on the phone, disability takes many forms.
How would you survive if you could not hear at all? It's certainly not easy for the hearing-impaired. Many would imagine that the world has gone on a break simply because they cannot hear any noise.
