Hi! my father had quit smoking for 3 months now (it was abrupt though) but since then he lost his appetite. Is it one of side effects of abrupt smoking cessation? What advise should you give please??

A:Typically smoking cessation leads to an increased appetite (hence why may people gain weight after they quit smoking). If you're worred it's best to consult your family doctor really.
