Hi!
I manage a website called www.project-documents.com, that specialises in providing easy to use project management templates to its customers. We offer a range of free templates for immediate download, as well as other documents that can be purchased for a small one-off fee. We also offer a full document toolkit, which includes 35 templates that can be used to run a project from start to finish. Every main document in the Project Lifecycle is covered in our toolkit.
Our customers come from different backgrounds from across the world. Many of them are experienced Project Managers and Business Analysts who understand the need to save time by using our templates. However, we also attract many students and those new to project management. We pride ourselves on offering documents that anyone can understand and use, no matter what their level of experience.
Our templates were written by a number of different consultants from the USA, Australia and the UK - providing decades of combined project experience. All of our templates have been tried and tested in the real world, so we can guarantee that they work!

Many projects have failed at the last hurdle due to poor implementation planning or inadequate analysis immediately prior to go-live. It is the Project Manager's responsibility to ensure that the implementation has been planned out and communicated to stakeholders, and that sufficient due diligence is undertaken before the project proceeds. This article focuses on the ‘go-live decision'.
A Project Plan provides a roadmap for detailing HOW your project will reach its desired goals. It should be written in the Project Planning phase, once the project has been initiated and received preliminary approval and funding to be scoped out further. It normally follows the Business Case, and should primarily focus on HOW the project will proceed rather than WHY.
