Parents will have plenty of trouble synchronizing their personal sleeping pattern to that of a newly born baby. They will often feel tired and sleepy at a time when the little one seems to be wide awake and in the mood for some playtime. On another occasion, a parent might want to gently nudge or playfully touch the cheeks of the little one at a time when all that is on the little one's mind is sleep.
Power-napping is a practice that will maximise the benefits of sleep against time. It is a sort of supplement to normal sleep, mostly when one is not getting enough sleep. James Maas, a Social Psychologist at Cornell University came up with the expression 'power-nap', a short sleep ending just before the beginning of deep sleep. It is intended to refresh and revitalize someone especially if they are having a sleep deficit.
Getting sleep might be a daunting task for a mother of a newly born baby but the task is probably twice as hard for an expectant mother. The mother of a newly born has the consolation of looking at a pretty little bundle of joy in the form of a baby while the expectant mother has but worries, pains and aches all over.
While there are many devices that employ so-called white noise for the purpose of conversation masking in offices or sound therapy to help aid sleep, many machines actually employ pink noise, which while still beneficial, is somewhat softer and less disruptive. However, as there are really no simple mathematical models to create pink noise it is usually generated by filtering white noise.
A single targeted link from a well maintained niche-specific directory is worth a hundred links from poor quality directories. Google's own guidelines recommend that you avoid links from "bad neighborhoods" and many low quality directories are little more than "link farms" that fall into this category. However, a well edited directory in a niche related to your website will not only improve your search engine rankings but will also send you targeted direct traffic.
