Jan Jessup serves as Director of Communications for Calico Corners, headquartered in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. She has represented Calico Corners for the past 15 years with much success in national print and broadcast media. Ms. Jessup has worked with editors and producers from around the country to provide them with fabrics, decorating tips, expert advice, plus color and design trend information on home furnishings.

Ms. Jessup has worked for Calico Corners for more than 30 years, in positions as diverse as marketing, head of the buying group, new store construction management and development of the first Calico Corners’ formal education program. When Ms. Jessup joined the company, there were only 16 Calico Corners stores. Now there are 115 stores across the country, and she played an intricate role in their growth.

Ms. Jessup grew up in California, majored in Textiles at Oregon State University and after a year studying abroad in northern Italy, graduated with a degree in History. She has been an active member of the Color Marketing Group for more than ten years and is Chair of the Consumer Colors Current committee. She serves on the boards of two art museums and stays active in her adopted community of Wilmington, Delaware.
