![]() Do I need to send all of my mailings via Intelligent Mail®?As you are aware, mailers who wish to take advantage of the USPS® Intelligent Mail (IM) benefits are required to pass a testing process (Test Environment for Mailers-TEM) to obtain authorization from the U.S. Postal Service®. But, once you are certified by the Postal Service for Intelligent Mail will you be required to send all of your mailings using Intelligent Mail system? ![]() Testing Environment for Mailers (TEM) for Intelligent Mail®Did you know that you need to pass a test in order to take advantage of the Intelligent Mail Full Service benefits which will be available effective November 29? The United States Postal Service® requires mailers claiming Intelligent Mail rates must be authorized to do so, and the only way to do that is to go through a testing process. The tests involve submitting Mail.dat files and electronic documents in a testing environment called ‘Test Environment for Mailers’ (TEM). Mail.XML is a very useful tool for use in transmitting smaller chunks of a Mail.dat file.
