It is important that we keep an eye on Israel for signs of the times. Many prophetic Bible passages point to that. The confirmation of a peace treaty would indicate we are that much closer.

There is a great deal of controversy over whether President Obama has the credentials, per the U.S. Constitution, to hold the office of The President of the United States. Recently (three years into his presidency) he has produced a "Certificate of Live Birth" that allegedly validates he was born in Hawaii. This article explores that topic more.

Current headlines are now fulfilling Bible prophecy at an absolutely amazing rate -- which is setting the stage for more ominous events to happen at any time. The signs are sometimes obvious, such as rumblings in the Middle East, economic turmoil, shifts in geopolitical policy, earthquakes, signs from heaven, and more. At other times, the clues are more subtle, yet equally astounding to those who know Bible prophecy.

The Bible talks about a major judgment that will happen at the "end of the world as we know it", which will occur just prior to "eternity". Revelation 20:10 explains Satan, the Antichrist, and the False prophet are thrown into hell and the verse that follows begins the description of a great judgment, known as the "Great White Throne Judgment" (Revelation 20:11-15). It's important to recognize that Christians, however will not be part of that final judgment of sin.

A grave issue of prophetic proportions is on the horizon. Namely that now that the elections are over, President Obama will turn his attention to the Middle East; and while most Americans support Israel, there is strong evidence that President Obama does not!

Many people think that eternity in heaven is going to start immediately after the Second Coming of Christ; however, that's not quite the case. Christ will reign for eternity; but first some other end-times events will happen. This article provides a brief overview of end-times events described in the Bible.

President Obama recently gave his State of the Union Address. I'm not a fan of the current administration in the executive branch of our government; however, I thought the speech was delivered very well. Still, optimism must be tempered as we examine the gap between rhetoric, policy, and action; and with the knowledge that we are not to ever look to man (or government) for the answers to our problems.

Headlines continue to be filled with news about the Middle East peace process and most everyone understands that the tiny nation of Israel has an important role in the eyes of the world. Christians that understand the Bible also know that it's not just important to world leaders, it is important to God Himself. Students of Bible prophecy have an even richer understanding of that concept given the abundance of prophecy that speaks to that.
