Jim German resides in Evergreen, Colorado with his wife Sarah and their dogs and horses. He is a Lieutenant on the Elk Creek Fire Department and a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician. He is America\'s Urban and Rural Emergency Survival Expert holding many state certifications. A former yacht broker in Southern California for over 20 years, Jim has cruised extensively throughout Mexico and Central America, including a passage through the Panama Canal aboard his own 46\' ketch. Before returning to Colorado, Jim and Sarah lived, skied, and hiked the Eastern Sierras and Mammoth Lakes, California.
