It's hard to believe now, in 2012, that we ever managed to survive without our cell (mobile) phones. The crazy thing though is that you only have to go back a few years, to the early 1990s, to discover a time when only a few people had them. These days, cell phones have, for many people at least, become an essential part of daily life.
Good, original, content is key because, unfortunately, the web is full of duplication these days. Although it is technically quite impressive, an auto-posting blog that scans the web looking for existing content to post on the blog does nothing to improve the quality of the web. And there are literally thousands, if not millions, of such sites.
Normally, it is men who grow facial hair following the onset of puberty normally in their late teens. However, women may also develop facial hair, particularly after menopause.
A hair's growth cycle includes a phase known as ‘anagen' in which the hair continues to grow for up to three years, a phase known as ‘catagen' in which the hair rests for up to three months and a phase known as ‘telogen' in which the hairs are shed at the end of the three month resting period. There are a number of common causes of alopecia in women which affect these phases.
We often assume that a good anti aging product contains sophisticated ingredients at the forefront of skin care science, but nature has provided us with many superb anti aging ingredients that work in harmony with our bodies. Many plant ingredients contain loads of vitamins, minerals, proteins, enzymes and fatty acids that assist skin rejuvenation and hydrating, fighting free radicals and stimulating collagen.
I've had my telescope for a while now and I have to admit that until fairly recently I didn't know much about the significance of the focal length. OK, I knew that to calculate the magnification you need to divide the telescope's focal length by the eyepiece's focal length, but what if I want to take photos of planets? is a short or a long focal length better?
I bought my Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P telescope in March 2009, so I've had it for almost two years now (February 2011). One of the reasons I opted for this particular telescope was because it had a motorised mount. I knew nothing about mounts (or telescopes for that matter) at the time so I based my choice on what I had read on the Internet.
It can be a bit confusing when you are trying to decide which telescope to buy. In this article I'll outline some of the benefits and drawbacks of the Sky-Watcher Explorer 130P.
Although when anyone ever thinks about astronomy they automatically think about the telescope, it is also important to have a good mount and tripod. It is essential that the tripod is sturdy and does not wobble, otherwise the object you are viewing will move about when you don't want it to, and that the mount that goes on top of the tripod is of a good quality and is easy to use.
A set of good eyepieces is a vital addition to your astronomy tool kit. Your telescope is only really as good as the eyepiece in it.
