Reading Buddies: Its Effect on Emotional Intelligence and Reading Comprehension

Educators are challenged in promoting social-emotional teaching strategies and experiences due to NCLB. NCLB also has focused less on reading comprehension in their research to establish a sound reading program. To this social-emotional learning has been compromised.
