José Maria Rodrigues Rodrigues has taught modern languages for over 15 years throughout the world (Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Wales, Paraguay, etc.). He holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics for Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (Valladolid-Spain - Grade: A+). He also holds a Master of Arts (M.A) Spanish Language and Applied Linguistics (Grade: A+) Department of Spanish Language University of Valladolid, Spain (2005); Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Didactics of Foreign languages) (Grade: A-). Bachelor of ARTS (B.A) English and Portuguese Languages (Grade: B-). States University of Londrina (Brazil). At the moment, he is working at the Catholic University of Assuncion (Paraguay). He has published books and articles in International journals and conferences on topics in the field spanish semantics of prepositions; inflected infinitive in Portuguese; Corpus linguistics, reference corpus in Guarani, etc. and attended workshops on the topics of lexical acquisition and language teaching strategies.
