Joshua Sparks - ArticlesBro. J.O. Sparks was born on February 21st 1979 at Kings Daughters medical Center in Ashland Kentucky to two Apostolic Holy Ghost filled parents. Born prematurely and crippled in his right leg and very sick Bro. Sparks Dad and Mom believed God and Bro. Sparks leg was healed at 8 days old at the paramount arts center where the late Evangelist R.A West was preaching and laid hands on Bro. Sparks and God healed him.
Although reared up as a child under the ministry of R.A West and although attending the United Pentecostal Church where he was raised as a youngster Bro. Sparks walk with God began on January 23rd 1991 by the side of His daddy’s bed where he knelt down and cried out to God in Repentence. In July of 1991 Bro. Sparks was called to preach in a vision where the Lord appeared to him and called him as a 13 year old teenager to preach the revelation of Jesus Christ and Salvation in and through the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). Bro. Sparks ministry began in the Church of God (Cleveland Tennessee) in Cattletsburg Ky. After preaching several times to the youth group Bro. Sparks approached the pastor to ask if he could minister to the congregation and the pastor wouldnt let him because and this is a quote “I cant let you because your Jesus Only”. This was the greatest thing spoken to Bro. Sparks because he left and ran to the local United Pentecostal Church in Ashland where the late Rev. George O. Cumpton was Pastor. This proved to be the Lord directing Bro. Sparks because Bro. Cumpton mentored Bro.Sparks and helped him to develop his calling in God. Bro. Sparks attended there for 7 years. In 2000 Bro. Sparks was licensed with the ALJC and Pastored the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Ashland Kentucky before entering Evangelism again and has been Evangelizing ever since. In 2005 Breaking the Silence International Evangelistic Ministries Inc was organized and became a non profit organization in the state of kentucky with ministers and friends all over the world. Together we are Breaking the Silence and declaring the saving Name of Jesus Christ to this world. Bro.Sparks Pastors the Worldwide Church of Jesus Christ in his home currently meeting Fridays at 7:30 PM. Baptized for the Remission of SinsAfter the Apostle Peter preached that wonderful, powerful model message on the day of Pentecost, model in that every message afterward was modeled or fashioned after that powerful Jesus Name message preached on the day of pentecost because in the message was given the procedures of obedience to the Gospel and these procedures if followed granted salvation to those obeyers. Rightly Dividing the Word of TruthSo many have parked their car so to speak at just speaking in tongues, and sporatic miracles and feelings of emotional high is why the Holy Spirit has been given to the church and this contradicts God’s Word. Jesus said the Spirit of Truth was given to lead and guide in all truth. Jesus said He would take of mine( from Jesus) and tell you of things to come. The ChurchJesus is the rock the church is built upon and by no means was Jesus telling Peter that the church would be built on him. Jesus is the founder and foundation of His church. He is the head of the body and from that head the body is fitly framed together and grows unto a holy habitation unto the Lord. Father Forgive themThis same Jesus who was prophesied before concerning His destiny to save His people from their sins and to be that sacrificial lamb that would be offered once for sins not continually that would replace the sacrifices of bulls and goats and forever settle the demands of justice and make atonement for sins. God Does Not ChangeI am writing to you today about a simple yet profound thought the Lord has placed in my heart. God does not change. The bible is plain in proclaiming this very profound reality throughout all of it’s pages. Kings and Prophets have testified that God does not change. They have written about their adversities and there many trials and sufferings and bondages. And the testimony is always the same. God does not change. Do you go to Church?Your man made hand made temples and buildings will be destroyed along with the doctrine of Babylon, or confusion. The book of Revelation calls the modern day spirit that calls itself Christianity mystery Babylon or mystery confusion and so many are confused today. The destruction of body and soul in GehennaIn recent months and weeks we have looked at several topics that have been the cause of controvery for many in christendom. We have examined such subjects as; what the bible teaches about death. Also we have looked at such topics as Is anyone in Heaven? and Is man a spirit? We have also through sound bible teaching taught the truth that man is a living soul and not an immortal soul. Anybody who teaches man has immortallity within his self or her self is teaching false doctrine. Worship God in spirit and truthApollos was convinced that Jesus was the Christ and became of true worshipper of Jesus in spirit and truth and mightily or vigarously refuted the Jews proving by the scriptures (Old testament) that Jesus was the Messiah. he was worshipping God in spirit and truth. Are you offering true worship to God today or are you worshipping without an accurate knowledge of God’s Kingdom and His Plan of Salvation. The third Heaven. What Did the Apostle Paul really see?What does it mean to rightly divide. This thought or statement comes from the greek word Orthoyomeo which means to disect or expound correctly the divine message. To disect the truth and find the truth on the pages of God’s Word and not man written handbooks is how we rightly divide the Word of Truth. I get disgusted by so many who write studies on the internet who need to go get back in a baby craddle and take the milk bottle and mature before they teach God’s Word. Is Jesus the Son of God Now Part 2A statement made from a very popular preacher who I will not name, has really stirred my heart into writing a second part to this study concerning Jesus being the Son of God now. That statement is and I quote, ” When that body died and shed blood, it was the end of God’s Son. This same preacher made the statement that God only created the Sonship of Jesus Christ for a period of time until His blood could be shed to make us Holy again.
